What "New" Means at Tech Guru Store
A New product comes to us straight from the manufacturer or their authorised distributor, and has never been opened by anyone — not a customer, not a shop, not us.
The factory seal is intact when it reaches your hands. It has never been powered on, tested, returned, repaired or repackaged. No prior owner, no prior history.
That is the whole definition. Everything else — warranty, invoice, accessories — follows from it.
What You Actually Get With a New Product
Not marketing adjectives — the concrete list of what lands at your door:
- An unbroken factory seal. You are the first person to open the box.
- The manufacturer's own warranty — HP, Dell, Lenovo, Samsung, Crucial, whoever made it. Registered against the serial number, claimable at any of their service centres, not just through us.
- Every original accessory — charger, cables, manuals, driver media, mounting screws. Nothing substituted, nothing missing.
- A GST invoice in your name or your company's name, so you can claim input tax credit and capitalise the asset.
- Zero history. No prior repairs, no BIOS tampering, no worn battery cycles, no unknown owner.
- A 7-day return and replacement window on top of the OEM warranty.

The one-line version: New and Open Box were never used — the difference is only the seal. Refurbished and Used were used by someone before you — the difference is whether it was professionally tested and restored afterwards.
Which Condition Should You Buy?

Warranty, Invoice & Returns Explained
OEM warranty (New only). Your warranty is with the manufacturer, not with us — register the serial number and you can walk into any of their authorised service centres in India. Typical terms: 1 year on peripherals, 1–3 years on laptops and desktops, 3–5 years on SSDs and RAM. The exact term is on each product page.
Seller warranty (Open Box & Refurbished). Six months, honoured by us directly, for repair or replacement.
GST invoice & returns. Every condition ships with a GST invoice — give us your GSTIN at checkout and it is raised in the company name. All four conditions carry a 7-day return window.
